In its fourth edition, the festival Pedralbes jardins 2016 has been held in Barcelona, during the months of June and July. The festival was located in the Jardins Palau Reial Pedralbes.
During these two months, the Jardins de Pedralbes Festival 2016 will offer a large music scene through concerts of various musical styles.
For this event black BC Carpas tents were mounted to the gastronomic festival area featuring a Nando Jubany kitchen to prepare the food.
The Jubany team will offer a tour of the most representative dishes in a unique experience. A gastronomic proposal that seeks and finds the balance between the traditional cuisine and a modern, bright kitchen. Between complexity and subtlety, down to the smallest detail and always with local and seasonal products.
For the area Dining village S. Sauleda is consisting of salads, bakes, sandwiches, paninis, rolls, burgers and a great assortment of sweets and fruit. Quality products and proximity too many diverse options suitable for vegetarians, vegans and coeliacs.
The curtain lifted on the 11th of June with the Irish rock group; The Cranberries and concludes, musically, on the 12th of July with the Swedish singer-songwriter José González. In between, the two dates almost twenty performances of all genres, among which are those of Charles Aznavour, Tom Jones, Miguel Bosé, Juan Diego Florez, The Lumineers, Milky Chance, Joan Baez, M83 and Paolo Conte will perform at the festival. The tickets are ranging from 16 up to 160 euros.
A new attraction this year is the fact that Jardins de Pedralbes hosts the screening of ‘Raiders of the Lost Ark’, with the soundtrack performed live by the Vallès Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Ernst van Tiel. And they will do the same with the award-winning silent movie ‘The Artist’.
